So Kai is having a bossy day. As we speak he is yelling, "PUT ME DOWN!". He has been telling me all day that he is hungry. Then when I put him in the high chair he takes two bites of his food then tells me he is done. It has been "GIVE ME THAT!, PUT THAT DOWN!, GO AWAY!, YOU DON"T TELL ME NO!!!" all day. I just love this new found independence. If I ignore him he gets mad. If I help him he yells at me.
It is days like this that make me want to turn off my phone, run to the nearest day spa, and hide until the urge to pull all my hair out passes. As a matter of fact I think there should be a government program that gives mothers a free spa day once a month. Lord knows we need it!

Seriously.
I mean, If the moms that get government assistance to put their children in day care, for all day long.... when the mother's themselves aren't working a job... just going home to have some "me" time.....
I think we should get a paid day or two off a month....
I am in dire need of a hair cut and a massage..... and maybe a pedi.

hahaha... I was re-reading your post and I thought of something really funny that Maggie says when she is mad at me in a store:
"I WANT MY MOMMY!!!" She will scream that at the top of her lungs and make me look like a frickin' kidnapper.
We have some fireball children, don't we! :)
My mom told me a story about me acting out in a store when I was little. She would squeeze my arm is this mommy death grip and use a low calm tone. Well one time I yelled "YOU BROKE MY ARM!!!" And three very large women looked at mom like she was a monster.
Just when you think you have them under control....
